I work in the UK as a Business Intelligence Manager. I've worked my way through various roles and in a variety of industries, and I love helping businesses and organisations thrive and grow by using their data.

So it makes sense that in order for a company to thrive, their analysts need to as well. 

I'm on a mission to help analysts learn and develop, from entry level all the way to getting into management. 

I passionately believe that empowered analysts are vital to the success of a business.

My roles as an analyst span over 16 years (public sector, Mortgages, Automotive), providing analysis and operational reports for staff across each business using a variety of tools (Power BI, SSRS, Crystal reports, Excel, Cognos).

I've worked with an ERP system (Dynamics NAV) as well as disparate datasets and the challenges this brings in transforming the data into meaningful information. I have created and designed data warehouses (SSMS, SSDT, Visual Studio, GitHub, SSIS) and have a deep knowledge of SQL.
